- IWM worked as the technical consultant for the gap and need analysis of the software and network architecture design for the electronic trading platform of the Ethiopian Commodities Exchange (ECX).
Water Works Design and Supervision enterprise – IT Consultant
IWM has been consulting Water works design and supervision enterprise (WWDSE) for the last six month as part of ICT Consultancy service. Currently at the end of phase one, Need and Gap analysis
- IWM have performed Gap analysis and need analysis for the enterprise to identify the network infrastructure, IT Governance and IT enterprise architecture, and software solution requirements. Based on the analysis , IWM have submitted a need and gap analysis report detailing the findings and the corresponding recommendation.
- IWM have also given training for the executives of WWDSE and IT personnel on Strategic Planning and IT Project Management based on PMI® standards and guidelines.
- In phase II, Planning, phase of the project IWM was involved in development of Project management plan (project charter, cost estimation, among others), Work break down structure, project schedule, and RFP document for the acquisition and implementation of network infrastructure and software solution based on the need and gap analysis report. IWM will develop bid evaluation criteria and give training on how to evaluate the RFP to the evaluation team.
- In phase III, implementation, phase of the project IWM will assist, support, and consult in vendor selection, contract negotiation and contract signing. Furthermore IWM will handle the project management task and support the implementation process based on the project plan.
- In phase IV, Monitor and control, phase of the project, IWM will assist, support, and consult on monitoring the user acceptance test processes including support in the development of UAT strategy, UAT test plan and scripts, and closely monitoring the testing process.
- Moreover, IWM, in corroboration with WWDSE project office, will handle the overall project management tasks starting from project initiation to project sign-off and closer.
Nib Insurance SC – IT Consultant
IWM has been consulting NIC for over one year.
- IWM performed Gap analysis and need analysis for the bank on the design, procurement and implementation of the entire Core Insurance Software System, the entire Network Infrastructure and the Corporate IT.

IWM has been consulting ETC on its $1.5Billion vendor financed Next Generation Network and services expansion. I have been leading the technical and financial detail negotiation, the Low Level Design review and Acceptance test plan preparation and execution for the following projects
- Customer Relation Management (CRM) and Business Support System (BSS)
- The Mobile and CDMA wireless network
- The IP-NGN MPLS network
- Fixed Line NGN, IP based voice and broadband ADSL/VDSL network

This was a project undertaken about four years ago on a twelve months consultancy with its foreign sister company iMereb Inc of California.
- IWM reviewed the design of a LAN/WAN enterprise network. IWM also evaluated and verify the deployment of the LAN/WAN.
- IWM also gave an extensive training for IT professionals on LAN, WAN, QOS, Network Security and other services.

This was a project undertaken about six years ago on a twelve months consultancy with its foreign sister company iMereb Inc of California.
